Kalie is the owner of Atlas, a marketing agency based in Oklahoma City. Her interest in highland culture began at an early age – sparked by folk stories and songs from her grandfather, a history teacher and genealogist.
This combined with an interest in various USCO events and the Outlander series led her to take a 23andMe ancestry test. To Kalie’s surprise, her ties to Scotland were even more prominent than she thought. She traced one side of the family to Clan Fraser and Stewart, and the other to Clan Gregor.
Kalie and her fiancé, Kirk Murray, enjoy learning about their Celtic heritage together and hiking with their dog, Bonnie. Kalie is also a part of the Scottish Highland Dance performance group, led by Elizabeth Kabrick at Everything Goes Dance Studio.
